This read-only counter tracks how many Far End Receive Failure cells the port has received, which a remote device sends to indicate it has detected a failure in the direction back toward this port. An administrator uses this counter to learn that the far end of the connection is reporting trouble receiving from this side, complementing portRcvAisCells which reports the reverse-direction fault indicator. A nonzero and growing count points to a one-way or bidirectional link problem that the remote equipment has already detected.
