ingrUpcPCR0

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::ingrUpcPCR0

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.2.1.1.1.25

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Peak Cell Rate for CLP=0 cells. The actual value depends on the speed of the logical port (which can be a T1, E1 (normal), E1 (clear), IMA T1, IMA E1 (normal) or IMA E1 (clear) port. Note that the IMA port's speed is variable and depends on the number of links in the port. In AUSM (4-port), maximum value is 4830.

What is ingrUpcPCR0?

This read-write integer sets the Peak Cell Rate enforced specifically against CLP=0 (higher-priority, non-discardable) cells, separate from the combined CLP[0+1] rate set by ingrUpcPCR01, and is likewise bounded by the logical port's actual speed. Admins use this to give higher-priority traffic its own, typically tighter, peak-rate ceiling distinct from the overall connection ceiling. For example, a connection might have a higher combined PCR01 to allow overall bursting, while ingrUpcPCR0 caps just the CLP=0 portion to protect against a source flooding only high-priority-marked cells.
