Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::ingrQCLPThreshLow

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.2.1.1.1.14

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This variable sets the lower threshold for dropping CLP set cells in the ingress direction. In AUSM (4-port card), the valid range is from 1..8000.This value should be less than or equal to ingrQCLPThreshHigh. Default value depends on the ingrQDepth.

What is ingrQCLPThreshLow?

This read-write integer sets the lower of the two CLP-based discard thresholds for the ingress queue, and per the MIB's own rule must be less than or equal to ingrQCLPThreshHigh, together forming a two-stage (hysteresis-style) discard policy for CLP-tagged cells. Admins configure the gap between the low and high thresholds to control how aggressively CLP-tagged cells get dropped as queue occupancy rises and falls, smoothing out discard behavior rather than having a single hard cutoff. For example, a wider gap between ingrQCLPThreshLow and ingrQCLPThreshHigh creates a gentler discard ramp as congestion builds and subsides.
