Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::chanIngrXmtUtilization

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.2.3.1.1.19

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge

Access: read-only

Description: The percentage utilization of the reserved bandwidth (PCR). Statistics collected after UPC and ingress queueing.

What is chanIngrXmtUtilization?

This read-only gauge reports the percentage of the channel's reserved PCR bandwidth actually being used after UPC policing and ingress queueing, the post-processing counterpart to chanIngrRcvUtilization. Admins use this as the "final" utilization figure that reflects what's actually being delivered onward, which should generally not exceed 100% since policing has already been applied by this measurement point. For example, if chanIngrXmtUtilization stays near 100% while chanIngrRcvUtilization is well above 200%, the admin can confirm UPC policing is effectively capping the connection's forwarded traffic at its contracted rate.
