What is bbIfRscPrtMaxChans?
This read-write value sets the maximum number of channels, up to 32767, that the controller owning this resource partition is permitted to create. It caps how many individual VCs a given controller, such as PAR, PNNI, or TAG, can provision within its partition, independent of the raw VPI and VCI address space available. An admin limiting a TAG controller's partition to 500 channels would set bbIfRscPrtMaxChans to 500 even if the VPI and VCI range technically allows more.
