What is bbIfRcvClp1DiscCells?
This counter tracks the number of CLP-1, lower-priority, cells discarded at ingress on this logical interface. Some CLP-1 discard is normal and expected behavior under load, since these cells are explicitly the first candidates for dropping during congestion. An admin comparing bbIfRcvClp1DiscCells to bbIfRcvClp1Cells can gauge how aggressively the interface is shedding low-priority traffic during busy periods.
