bbIfMaxCellRatePct

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::bbIfMaxCellRatePct

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.6.1.1.1.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The maximum cell rate allowed for the port in terms of percentage. Must be greater than or equal to bbIfIngrPctBandwidth. The default is 100 percent.

What is bbIfMaxCellRatePct?

This read-write setting caps the maximum cell rate this port may use, expressed as a percentage, and must be set no lower than bbIfIngrPctBandwidth since the reserved bandwidth can't exceed the permitted maximum. It acts as a ceiling on top of the per-direction bandwidth reservations, useful for limiting a port's overall throughput below its physical maximum. An admin wanting to cap a port's usage at 80 percent of line rate, even though 100 percent is the default, would lower bbIfMaxCellRatePct to 80.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.6.1.1.1.1.10
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::bbIfMaxCellRatePct

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.6.1.1.1.1.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::bbIfMaxCellRatePct.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.6.1.1.1.1.10.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> bbIfMaxCellRatePct.1
