Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::axisImaGroupRestartImaGrp

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.1.1.7.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This variable restarts the Ima grp. We have the option of relearning the Ima id or retaining the stored ID.

What is axisImaGroupRestartImaGrp?

This read-write INTEGER, one of noAction(1), persistent(2), or dorelearn(3), restarts the IMA group, letting the operator choose whether the group relearns its far-end IMA ID from scratch or retains the previously stored ID. An administrator uses dorelearn(3) when troubleshooting an IMA group that appears stuck after a change at the remote end, forcing it to rediscover the far-end identity rather than assume the old one is still valid. For example, an operator who just swapped out the remote-end card would use dorelearn(3) to make sure the local IMA group picks up the new far-end IMA ID rather than continuing to expect the old one.
