ausmStdABRTrm

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::ausmStdABRTrm

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.2.1.4.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Upper bound on the time between forward RM cells for an active source. The unit is in milliseconds.

What is ausmStdABRTrm?

This read-write integer sets Trm, the maximum time in milliseconds an active standard-ABR source is allowed to go between sending forward RM cells, ensuring feedback opportunities occur at least this often even during periods of low cell volume. Admins configure this as a time-based backstop to the cell-count-based Nrm parameter, guaranteeing periodic rate feedback regardless of how much data traffic is flowing. For example, even if a source isn't sending enough cells to trigger an RM cell via the Nrm count, ausmStdABRTrm forces one to be sent once this time interval elapses.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.2.1.4.1.8
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::ausmStdABRTrm

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.2.1.4.1.8.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::ausmStdABRTrm.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.2.1.4.1.8.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ausmStdABRTrm.1
