ausmStdABRMCR

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::ausmStdABRMCR

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.2.1.4.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Minimum cell Rate. The actual value depends on the speed of the logical port (which can be a T1, E1 (normal), E1 (clear), IMA T1 IMA E1 (normal) or IMA E1 (clear) port. Note that the IMA port's speed is variable and depends on the number of links in the port. Please note that the MCR value will include bandwidth occupied by Data cells as well as all in-rate RM cells.

What is ausmStdABRMCR?

This read-write integer sets the Minimum Cell Rate (MCR) guaranteed for a standard ABR connection, explicitly noted to include bandwidth consumed by both data cells and in-rate RM cells combined, and bounded by the logical port's actual speed. Admins configure this as the floor rate the ABR connection is entitled to regardless of congestion feedback, similar in spirit to the general ausmConnMCR but specific to the standard ABR TM4.0 parameter set. For example, when calculating whether a port has spare capacity for additional connections, an admin must remember that this MCR figure already accounts for RM cell overhead, not just user data.
