ausmStdABRCDF

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::ausmStdABRCDF

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.2.1.4.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Cutoff Decrease Factor. This unitless value has to be inversed to arrive at the actual value. The valid values possible are 0 and only powers of 2; i.e. 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 . The SNMP agent has to verify this compliance.

What is ausmStdABRCDF?

This read-write integer sets the Cutoff Decrease Factor (CDF) for a standard ABR connection, a unitless value (0 or a power of 2 up to 64, inverted to get its actual effect) that governs how the source's rate is decreased when it hasn't received expected RM cell feedback within the Trm-based cutoff window. Admins configure this to control ABR behavior specifically for the "no feedback received" scenario, distinct from RDF which handles explicit negative feedback. For example, setting ausmStdABRCDF to 0 would disable this particular cutoff-based rate reduction, while a nonzero power-of-2 value would cause the rate to be cut down when RM feedback goes missing for too long.
