ausmEndPortNum

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::ausmEndPortNum

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.3.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Refers to the logical port on the board. In AUSM (4-port card), a logical port is synonymous with a physical port.

In PXM, a port refers to the Logical Broadband Interface. Refer bbIfCnfPortGrp.my for more information.

What is ausmEndPortNum?

This read-only integer identifies the logical port (1-32) associated with a connection endpoint, with the description noting that on a 4-port AUSM card the logical port number is the same as the physical port, while on a PXM card it instead refers to a Logical Broadband Interface rather than a simple physical port. Admins interpreting this value need to know which card type they're looking at, since the same numeric value maps to different physical realities on AUSM versus PXM cards. For example, an admin cross-referencing ausmEndPortNum on a PXM card should consult the Logical Broadband Interface table rather than assuming it directly maps to a physical connector as it would on a 4-port AUSM card.
