What is ausmConnSCR?
This read-write integer sets the Sustained Cell Rate for a VBR connection being set up through the PNNI routing controller, defining the average rate the connection is expected to sustain over time, distinct from its burstier peak rate. Admins configure this specifically for VBR service connections under PNNI, since SCR together with burst-size parameters defines the VBR traffic contract. For example, a PNNI-routed VBR connection would have its ausmConnSCR set below its peak cell rate to reflect that it can burst higher temporarily but should average around this sustained rate.
