This read-write enumerated value sets the administrative up/down status of a connection managed through the PXM path, letting an admin intentionally take a connection out of service (down) or restore it (up), with the note that this capability isn't available on MGX Release 1.x. Admins use this to disable a connection for maintenance or troubleshooting without deleting its configuration entirely. For example, an admin needing to temporarily suspend a customer's connection during a billing dispute could set ausmConnAdminStatus to down, then back to up once resolved, preserving all the connection's configured parameters.
