Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::ausmChanVpIdNextAvailable

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This variable contains the next unused local VPId of the possible 1 to 100. This number can be used in channel config table. It gets updated if the number is used to create a new vp connection. There can max 100 vp connections per slot. Value of 0 for this variable indicates that no more vp connections are available.

What is ausmChanVpIdNextAvailable?

This read-only integer reports the next unused local VP identifier available for creating a new VP connection on this card slot, updating automatically as VP IDs are consumed, with 0 indicating the maximum of 100 VP connections per slot has been reached and none remain. Admins check this before provisioning a new VP connection to know what local VP ID will be assigned, and treat a 0 value as a capacity-exhaustion signal for VP connections specifically (separate from the general channel-number pool). For example, if an admin needs to add another VP connection but ausmChanVpIdNextAvailable reports 0, they know the slot has already reached its 100 VP connection limit.
