Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::ausmChanTestTypeCPESide
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.2.1.1.1.37
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The default is notest. The chanTestType starts testing the segment continuity of a connection. It sends OAM Segment loopback cell towards port side (CPE) The CPE would loop back the cell To test the continuity follow this procedure: a- set chanTestTypeCPEside to testconseg b- read chanTestState till it is Pass or Fail *Note that the chanTestType would go back to notest when the test is completed SYNTAX When you select testdelay
This is the type of the test 1 = Test Continuity 2 = No Test
What is ausmChanTestTypeCPESide?
This read-write enumerated value initiates a segment-level continuity test toward the customer premises equipment (CPE) side of the connection by sending an OAM segment loopback cell that the CPE is expected to loop back, defaulting to notest and automatically reverting to notest once the test completes. Admins use this specifically to test the segment between the switch and the CPE, complementing the network-side test performed by ausmChanTestType, useful for isolating whether a connectivity problem lies on the customer-facing side rather than the network core side. For example, an admin suspecting a CPE-side cabling or configuration issue would set ausmChanTestTypeCPESide to testconseg and watch ausmChanTestStateCPESide for a pass/fail result specific to that customer-facing segment.
