What is ascLmiStatusTx?
This is a running counter of the LMI Status PDUs the switch has transmitted on this line. Since Status PDUs carry the switch's view of PVC state to the attached device, tracking this counter helps confirm that the switch is actively sending status updates rather than being stalled. An admin troubleshooting a customer's report of a PVC showing down might check whether ascLmiStatusTx is incrementing to rule out the switch failing to transmit status at all.
