Description: Network Prefix for the ATM address
What is addrPrefix?
This read-write value holds the network prefix portion of the ATM NSAP address assigned to the port or interface, used to build the full ATM addresses for connected end systems. An administrator configures this prefix so that devices performing ILMI address registration on the port receive a consistent, routable ATM address. For example, setting a common addrPrefix across all ports on a switch ensures registered end-system addresses share the same network identifier for routing purposes.
