OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-ATM-CUG-MIB::cwaIncomingAccess

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.99999.1.2.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This variable decides whether 'incoming access' is allowed for a CUG user.

the 'incoming access' allows a CUG user to receive calls from all other non-CUG users and also from those other CUG user that allow 'outgoing access'.

When the value is set to notAllowed(1), the 'incoming access' is not allowed.

When the value is set to allowed(2), the 'incoming access' is allowed.

When this entry is created, this variable has a value of notAllowed(1).

What is cwaIncomingAccess?

This read-write object controls whether 'incoming access' is allowed for this CUG user, where incoming access lets the user receive calls from all non-CUG users as well as from other CUG members that themselves allow outgoing access. Setting it to notAllowed(1) blocks this open incoming-call capability, while allowed(2) permits it. An admin configuring a CUG member that should remain reachable from the general network, not just from within its own CUG, would set this to allowed(2).
