Description:
This object records the codec associated with a specific Announcdement file.
The default will be the value specified in the cwAnnPreferenceCodec MIB object above.
What is cwAnnFileCodec?
This object identifies the audio codec (compression format) used for a specific announcement file stored on the device, such as G.711 or G.729. The codec value defaults to the system-wide preference but can be overridden per announcement file during creation or modification. Network operators use this to ensure announcement files are in the correct audio format for their network and bandwidth constraints.
