What is aal2ProfileVBDPktPeriod?
This read-write value configures the packetization period, in milliseconds, used when carrying Voice Band Data (VBD) traffic such as fax or modem signals under this profile. An admin adjusts this because VBD traffic like fax is more sensitive to packetization delay and jitter than regular voice, so getting this period right matters for reliable fax/modem transmission over the ATM trunk. For example, if faxes are failing intermittently over a voice gateway, the admin might check whether this packetization period is set too high for the ITU profile in use and adjust it to the recommended value.
