c3gModemTemperAbateNotifThreshold

Module: CISCO-WAN-3G-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-3G-MIB::c3gModemTemperAbateNotifThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.661.1.1.1.18

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: C3gTemperature

Access: read-write

Description: The modem temperature abate threshold value. If modem temperature goes below the threshold and the value of c3gModemTemperAbateNotifEnabled is 'true', the c3gModemTemperAbateNotif notification will be sent. The value of c3gModemTemperAbateNotifThreshold should be less than or equal to the value of c3gModemTemperOnsetNotifThreshold. e.g. setting c3gModemTemperAbateNotifThreshold to 50 degree Celsius and then setting c3gModemTemperOnsetNotifThreshold to 40 degree Celsius is not allowed and will be rejected.

What is c3gModemTemperAbateNotifThreshold?

This read-write threshold defines the modem temperature, in degrees Celsius, below which the c3gModemTemperAbateNotif notification is sent, provided c3gModemTemperAbateNotifEnabled is true, indicating the overheating condition has cleared. An admin pairs this with the onset threshold to receive a "temperature back to normal" alert once a previously overheating modem cools down. For example, setting the abate threshold to 50 degrees Celsius against an onset of 70 lets an admin be notified both when the modem gets hot and when it settles back down.
