This read-only enumerated value reports the current GPS location-service state of the device, such as disabled, acquiring a fix, enabled, or in error. An admin monitoring GPS-equipped cellular routers uses this to quickly tell whether location tracking is actively working, still trying to get a fix, or has failed, without needing to inspect detailed satellite data. For example, if a vehicle-mounted router reports gpsLocError for an extended period, the admin knows GPS tracking has broken down and should investigate antenna connectivity or satellite visibility rather than assuming the last known location is current.
