This creatable/settable object configures whether the network should deliver SDUs (Service Data Units) detected to contain errors, as part of the profile's requested QoS. An admin sets this depending on whether the profile's application can itself detect and discard corrupted data (in which case delivering erroneous SDUs might be acceptable) or needs the network to filter them out. For example, a profile carrying an application with its own robust error-checking might request that erroneous SDUs still be delivered rather than silently dropped, to avoid unnecessary retransmission delay.
