c3gEcIoOnsetNotifFlag

Module: CISCO-WAN-3G-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-3G-MIB::c3gEcIoOnsetNotifFlag

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.661.1.1.1.27

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: C3gServiceCapability

Access: read-write

Description: This object is the flag bitmap to control the generation of notification c3gEcIoOnsetNotif. Each bit represents a service as defined in C3gServiceCapability, set the bit value to 1 to enable (and 0 to disable) the generation of notification c3gEcIoOnsetNotif for that service. The default value of this object is all bits are 0.

What is c3gEcIoOnsetNotifFlag?

This read-write bitmap controls which cellular services have Ec/Io onset-threshold notifications enabled, using the same per-service bit layout as C3gServiceCapability, defaulting to all bits off. An admin enables bits here to get pilot-signal-quality degradation alerts specifically for the services they operate, complementing RSSI-based alerting with an interference/noise-focused metric. For example, enabling the EV-DO bit here means the router raises an Ec/Io onset alert only when EV-DO's pilot quality (not 1xRTT's or GSM's) drops below its configured threshold.
