c3gEcIoAbateNotifThreshold
Module: CISCO-WAN-3G-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-3G-MIB::c3gEcIoAbateNotifThreshold
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.661.1.1.1.16
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: C3gEcIo
Access: read-write
Description: The threshold value that if EcIo goes above the threshold and the service bit in c3gEcIoAbateNotifFlag is set, the c3gEcIoAbateNotif notification for that service will be sent. The absolute value of c3gEcIoAbateNotifThreshold should be less than or equal to the absolute value of c3gEcIoOnsetNotifThreshold (|c3gEcIoAbateNotifThreshold| <= |c3gEcIoOnsetNotifThreshold|). e.g. setting c3gEcIoOnsetNotifThreshold to -15 dB and then setting c3gEcIoAbateNotifThreshold to -10 dB is not allowed and will be rejected.
What is c3gEcIoAbateNotifThreshold?
This read-write threshold, in dB, sets the Ec/Io level above which the c3gEcIoAbateNotif notification fires for a service once conditions improve, provided that service's bit is set in c3gEcIoAbateNotifFlag. An admin configures this alongside the onset threshold to receive a recovery notification once pilot signal quality climbs back to an acceptable level after a degradation event. For example, an abate threshold of -12 dB paired with an onset of -15 dB tells the router to signal recovery once Ec/Io rises back above -12 dB.
