vsanInorderDelivery

Module: CISCO-VSAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VSAN-MIB::vsanInorderDelivery

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.282.1.1.3.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-create

Description: The InorderDelivery guarantee flag for the local switch on this VSAN. If the value of the object is 'true', then the in-order delivery is guaranteed. If 'false', it is not guaranteed. When the value of fcInorderDelivery is changed, the value of this object will be set to the new value of that object.

What is vsanInorderDelivery?

This read-create TruthValue object indicates whether the local switch guarantees in-order delivery of frames on a specific VSAN, with true meaning frame order is guaranteed and false meaning it is not. An administrator cares about this on VSANs carrying storage traffic sensitive to frame reordering, and should note that this per-VSAN setting automatically follows any change to the device-wide fcInorderDelivery object. For example, if fcInorderDelivery is toggled to false at the switch level, this VSAN's flag updates to false as well, potentially affecting replication traffic that depends on ordered delivery.
