Description: The source IP address of the tunnel in which the failure occurred. This IP address is that of the interface at the instigator end of the tunnel. The instigator end is the peer which initiates the tunnel estalishment. The type of this address is determined by the value of cvpdnUnameToFailHistSourceInetType.
What is cvpdnUnameToFailHistSourceInetAddr?
This object records, in protocol-independent form, the source address of the tunnel instigator at the time this VPDN connection failure occurred, interpreted according to its accompanying address-type object. It is the IPv6-capable counterpart to the older, IPv4-only source-IP failure history object. For example, on a dual-stack deployment this object could capture an IPv6 source address for a failure that the legacy IPv4-only object would have missed entirely.
