Module: CISCO-VPDN-MGMT-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-VPDN-MGMT-MIB::cvpdnUnameToFailHistRemoteName

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-only
Description: The remote name of the VPDN tunnel in which the failure occurred. It will be the tunnel server name of the tunnel if the system is a NAS, or the NAS name of the tunnel if the system serves as the tunnel server. This object can be empty if the failure occurred prior to successful tunnel projection, thus no source name will be available.
What is cvpdnUnameToFailHistRemoteName?
This object records the remote tunnel name in effect when a VPDN connection failure occurred, and like the local name it can be empty if the failure happened before tunnel projection succeeded. Administrators use it to see which remote NAS or tunnel server was involved in a specific recorded failure. For example, seeing the same remote name across many failure entries would point to a persistent problem reaching that particular remote peer.
