Description: The local IP address of the tunnel. This IP address is that of the interface at the local end of the tunnel. The type of this address is determined by the value of cvpdnTunnelAttrLocalInetAddressType.
What is cvpdnTunnelAttrLocalInetAddress?
This object reports the local endpoint address of this VPDN tunnel in a protocol-independent format, whose address family is identified by the accompanying address-type object. It extends the older IPv4-only local-address object to also support IPv6-terminated tunnels. For example, on a dual-stack router this object might show an IPv6 address for a tunnel that the older, IPv4-only object could not represent at all.
