What is cvpdnSystemTunnelTotal?
This gauge reports the number of VPDN tunnels of a specific tunnel type (such as L2TP, L2F, or PPTP) that are currently active on this system. It lets an administrator break down the system-wide tunnel count by protocol to see which tunneling technology is actually in use. For example, seeing zero active tunnels for the L2TP row while PPTP shows many active tunnels tells an operator that only PPTP is presently being used for remote access.
