Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: CucsPolicyPolicyOwner
Access: read-only
Description: Cisco UCS vnic:RackServerDiscoveryProfile:policyOwner managed object property
What is cucsVnicRackServerDiscoveryProfilePolicyOwner?
This indicates who owns and controls this rack-server discovery profile, for example whether it is managed locally by UCS Manager or by an upstream policy source such as UCS Central. An admin needing to change the discovery profile checks this first, since a policy owned by a central management system typically cannot be edited locally. For example, if policyOwner shows the policy is controlled by UCS Central, a local admin attempting to edit maxPorts on this profile in standalone UCS Manager would be blocked and told to make the change centrally.
