Type: CucsVnicRedundancyPairType

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS vnic:IScsi:redundancyPairType managed object property

What is cucsVnicIScsiRedundancyPairType?

This OID reports the redundancy pairing role (CucsVnicRedundancyPairType) of an iSCSI vNIC defined inside a UCS service profile to carry iSCSI boot/storage traffic (IScsi) — for example whether this iSCSI vNIC is the primary or secondary half of a redundant pair. An admin cares because redundant vNIC pairs are meant to fail over to each other, and knowing which role this instance plays is essential when diagnosing why a failover did or didn't happen. For example, if an admin sees an iSCSI connection drop without failing over, they'd check this redundancyPairType to confirm the vNIC was actually configured as part of a pair in the first place.
