What is cucsVnicIScsiOrder?
This OID reports the administratively configured PCI/vNIC placement order for an iSCSI vNIC defined inside a UCS service profile to carry iSCSI boot/storage traffic (IScsi), the position this iSCSI vNIC occupies relative to other vNICs presented to the server's OS. An admin cares about placement order because the OS enumerates network and storage interfaces in this sequence, and boot firmware relies on a predictable order to find the iSCSI boot NIC. For example, if a server fails to PXE/iSCSI boot after a service profile change, an admin would check whether this order value shifted, moving the iSCSI vNIC to a different enumeration slot than the boot policy expects.
