Description: Cisco UCS vnic:IScsiLCP:vnicName managed object property

What is cucsVnicIScsiLCPVnicName?

This OID reports the name of the data vNIC that the launched, deployed instance of an iSCSI vNIC as it actually runs on a server, as opposed to the vNIC's policy-level definition (IScsiLCP) is bound to for its actual Ethernet transport. An admin cares because this is the vNIC whose link state, VLAN, and fabric assignment the iSCSI traffic actually rides on, so problems on that vNIC surface as iSCSI connectivity problems too. For example, an admin troubleshooting an iSCSI boot failure would follow this vnicName value to the underlying vNIC to check whether it has link and the correct VLAN before suspecting the storage array.
