An admin cares because iSCSI boot traffic for this vNIC only flows over the fabric side named here, so a fabric A outage would specifically impact vNICs whose switchId points at A. For example, when fabric interconnect A goes into maintenance, an admin would query this switchId across all IScsiLCP instances to know exactly which iSCSI vNICs are affected.
