Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: SnmpAdminString
Access: read-only
Description: Cisco UCS vnic:IScsiLCP:redundancyPeer managed object property
What is cucsVnicIScsiLCPRedundancyPeer?
This OID reports the identity of the paired redundant vNIC that backs up the launched, deployed instance of an iSCSI vNIC as it actually runs on a server, as opposed to the vNIC's policy-level definition (IScsiLCP) in a redundancy relationship. An admin cares because this tells them exactly which other vNIC will take over traffic if this one fails, which is essential information when planning maintenance that touches either half of the pair. For example, before taking a fabric interconnect offline, an admin would look up this redundancyPeer value to confirm the standby path is healthy before failing traffic over to it.
