Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CucsVnicConnectionOwner

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS vnic:IScsiLCP:owner managed object property

What is cucsVnicIScsiLCPOwner?

This OID reports who created/owns the connection represented by the launched, deployed instance of an iSCSI vNIC as it actually runs on a server, as opposed to the vNIC's policy-level definition (IScsiLCP) — per the CucsVnicConnectionOwner enumeration, typically distinguishing a policy-driven connection from one set directly by an admin. An admin cares because a policy-owned connection will be overwritten if the underlying policy changes, whereas an admin-owned one persists until manually edited. For example, an admin who manually pinned an iSCSI vNIC to a specific port would expect this owner value on the IScsiLCP object to reflect that manual override rather than a policy default.
