Description: Cisco UCS vnic:IScsiLCP:operCdnName managed object property

What is cucsVnicIScsiLCPOperCdnName?

This OID reports the CDN value actually applied and visible to the operating system for the launched, deployed instance of an iSCSI vNIC as it actually runs on a server, as opposed to the vNIC's policy-level definition (IScsiLCP), which should match the administratively configured name if everything applied correctly. An admin cares because if this operational CDN name doesn't match what was configured, OS-level scripts expecting a specific interface name will fail to find the iSCSI NIC. For example, an admin debugging a boot script that can't find 'eth-iscsi0' would check this operCdnName to confirm the OS actually received that name rather than a default one.
