This OID reports the administratively configured Consistent Device Naming (CDN) value for the launched, deployed instance of an iSCSI vNIC as it actually runs on a server, as opposed to the vNIC's policy-level definition (IScsiLCP) — the interface name the OS should present for this iSCSI vNIC. An admin cares because CDN lets them predict and standardize the OS-level network interface name (e.g. in Linux udev) instead of relying on whatever order the OS happens to enumerate NICs. For example, an admin scripting OS network configuration across many identical blades relies on this adminCdnName being consistent so their automation always finds the iSCSI interface under the same name.
