This OID reports the FSM (finite state machine) configuration state of an iSCSI vNIC — the lifecycle stage UCS Manager is currently in while applying, or having applied, this object's configuration. An admin watches this state to tell whether a iSCSI vNIC's settings have finished deploying to hardware or are still in progress (or stuck), which is critical right after creating or editing a service profile. For example, if this value shows a failed or pending state well after a profile association was kicked off, an admin knows the iSCSI vNIC's configuration did not fully apply and needs investigation.
