Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: SnmpAdminString

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS vnic:IScsiConfig:operIpPoolNameFabricB managed object property

What is cucsVnicIScsiConfigOperIpPoolNameFabricB?

This OID reports the name of the operationally in-use IPv4 address pool for fabric B that the iSCSI vNIC address/pool configuration object that controls where an iSCSI boot vNIC's IP and IQN addressing comes from (IScsiConfig) draws the iSCSI boot vNIC's IP address from. An admin cares because if this pool runs out of addresses or is deleted, the iSCSI vNIC it feeds will fail to obtain a valid boot IP. For example, an admin troubleshooting a blade that cannot reach its iSCSI target would check whether this ipPoolName still exists and has free addresses.
