Type: CucsPolicyPolicyOwner

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS vnic:IScsiBootVnic:policyOwner managed object property

What is cucsVnicIScsiBootVnicPolicyOwner?

This OID reports who owns the policy value in effect for the underlying data vNIC that an iSCSI boot vNIC rides on for its actual Ethernet path (IScsiBootVnic) — for instance whether it is a local override or inherited from a policy defined higher in the org hierarchy. This matters to an admin because it explains why a setting on this IScsiBootVnic instance might not match what was directly configured on the service profile — it may instead be coming from a shared policy elsewhere. For example, an admin puzzled that changing a local setting had no effect would check this owner value to discover the IScsiBootVnic instance is actually governed by an org-wide policy.
