What is cucsVnicIScsiBootDev?
This OID reports the boot-device role assigned to an iSCSI vNIC, using the CucsVnicVnicBootDev enumeration to say whether this vNIC/vHBA participates in the server's boot order. An admin checks this to confirm which network or storage path a server will actually attempt to boot from, which matters most when diagnosing a server that fails to PXE- or SAN-boot as expected. For example, if a server won't boot from SAN, an admin checks this field on the relevant iSCSI vNIC to confirm it is actually still enabled as a boot device rather than having been demoted.
