Description: Cisco UCS vnic:Ether:propAcl managed object property

What is cucsVnicEtherPropAcl?

This read-only Unsigned64 value is a property-level access-control list (ACL) bitmask governing which of this vNIC (virtual Ethernet NIC) instance's individual fields may be modified and by whom. Rather than a single read/write flag on the whole object, this bitmask lets UCS Manager restrict write access field-by-field, which is why some properties of a vNIC (virtual Ethernet NIC) instance may be editable while others are locked even for the same user role. An admin who gets an 'access denied' error trying to change one field of the vNIC named 'eth0' on service profile 'SP-WEB03', pinned to fabric interconnect A with a 9000-byte MTU but not another could consult this propAcl bitmask to see which specific fields their role is permitted to touch.
