Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-VNIC-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-VNIC-MIB::cucsVnicEtherIfOperVnetDn
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.53.10.1.12
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: SnmpAdminString
Access: read-only
Description: Cisco UCS vnic:EtherIf:operVnetDn managed object property
What is cucsVnicEtherIfOperVnetDn?
This read-only SnmpAdminString value reports the operational (currently in-effect, resolved) value of 'vnetDn' for this vNIC Ethernet Interface entry instance, as opposed to whatever value was administratively requested. UCS Manager separates admin-requested settings from the operational value actually applied after policy resolution, so this field is what an admin should trust when checking what a vNIC Ethernet Interface entry instance is really doing right now, especially if the admin-side setting and this operational value ever disagree. For an Ethernet Interface entry attaching VLAN 130 to vNIC template 'vNIC-Templ-A' as its default (native) network, if the admin-configured value pointed at a policy that had since been deleted, this operational OID would show the fallback value UCS Manager actually resolved to and is currently using.
