Description: Cisco UCS vnic:DynamicCon:rn managed object property

What is cucsVnicDynamicConRn?

This read-only SnmpAdminString value is the Relative Name (RN) of a Dynamic vNIC Connection setting object, the naming component that distinguishes one Dynamic vNIC Connection setting instance from its sibling instances under the same parent object. The RN is the piece an admin actually assigns or that UCS Manager derives when creating the object; combined with its parent's DN it produces the object's full DN, so two Dynamic vNIC Connection setting instances under different parents can share the same RN without colliding. Looking at a service profile configured for 8 dynamic vNICs with fabric-failover protection enabled, for a hypervisor host running many VMs, the RN would be the short naming segment (for example an object ID or index) that appears as the last component of that instance's DN.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-VNIC-MIB::cucsVnicDynamicConRn

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.53.3.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-VNIC-MIB::cucsVnicDynamicConRn.1
