Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-VNIC-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-VNIC-MIB::cucsVnicDynamicConName
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.53.3.1.9
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: SnmpAdminString
Access: read-only
Description: Cisco UCS vnic:DynamicCon:name managed object property
What is cucsVnicDynamicConName?
This read-only SnmpAdminString value is the admin-assigned name given to a Dynamic vNIC Connection setting object. This is the human-readable label (how many VM-FEX dynamic vNICs a specific service profile is provisioned with and how those dynamic vNICs are protected against fabric-interconnect failure) that shows up in UCS Manager's GUI and CLI, so it's the field admins actually recognize when auditing configuration rather than a DN or internal ID. For a service profile configured for 8 dynamic vNICs with fabric-failover protection enabled, for a hypervisor host running many VMs, this OID would simply return the name text the admin chose when they created or configured that Dynamic vNIC Connection setting instance.
