Since a UCS domain can contain many Connectivity Definition instances (one row per service profile's connectivity definition), the DN is what lets monitoring tools or scripts pin an SNMP row to the exact instance it describes rather than just the object type. For example, an admin troubleshooting a service profile whose Connectivity Definition names 'LAN-Conn-Prod' as its LAN policy and 'SAN-Conn-Fabric-A' as its SAN policy would read this OID to get a DN like 'org-root/...dn', letting them jump straight to that instance in UCS Manager instead of searching through the whole tree.
