An administrator's first check when a port or its related object is misbehaving is fsmStatus on the corresponding PortDiscover instance, since it immediately shows whether UCS Manager considers the object's setup workflow finished successfully. For example, an fsmStatus reporting a failure on this PortDiscover instance tells the operator to look at the accompanying error and description fields rather than assume the object is simply still initializing.
